He was real. Big explosive puncher with realy good speed and power in both hands. Way better than Dilder.

Brigs was something like Cleveland Williams in his days.

Like a Williams Shannon has a bad boxing skills and tend to tire in long fights.

Brigs opposition was ways better than Wilder's, despite been extreemely weak by elite heavy standarts.

Actually, 3 best of Shannon wins were:

3)Late KO of Liakovich who was few seconds from the draw (and himself was probably worst champion ever after Martin)

2) UD against ancient 48-something Forman, which was robbery (George wins more rounds).

1) KO of Mercer (3 hooks to temple while standing behind Ray back), who clearly winning the fight at the moment of stoppage.

Been a champion for almost five years made 9 defences and still been a worse fighter than Brigs - that's is big achivment. Heavies now at historical low...

True. Some maintain he fought well against Lennox...I guess from the notion that he went out on his shield.

Wilder, for all his *****, actually keeps his s h i t together quite well - across 12 rounds. Watch Oakland Billy Smith or Julian Jackson, and tell me what you dislike about Wilder...

Wider is no boxer. He can't box with anyone who have idea how to do it. Period. But he can try and KO the guy.

But he have pretty good phisique. Wider have a best body in modern boxing: he is tall, lean, no excess fat or muscle.
And he is explosive.
Wilders phisical shape is better than thouse of either Klitchko or Lewis.
But Wilders boxing abilityes is still poor. Yes, he started late, but guys like Mercer, Liston, Qawi start late.

Davaril Williamson started at 25 with simular (but not so impressive) phisique, but he never was THAT bad.

Wilders punching is way to wild. He trew his right like a baseball pitcher.

In terms of profesional career Wilder is scavenger: whenever his team saw somebody still rated, but allready dead of his feet (or, better, slightly rotten) they immidiately get him to fight.

Wilder fought only on this terms, otherwise his team did everething to cancell fight.
