Yea there are always some fiction, but some are ALL fiction like THE HURRICANE. I remember a quote from Jesse James jr after they made Jesse James with Tyrone Power back in the 30s. Some one asked him "how true was the movie" he answered "Well there was a Jesse James and he did ride a horse"

LOL ! Good one ! I walked into that one. Actually the Little Joe name is in honor of Joe Choynski. I read where Jim Jeffires said"I reckon the hardest punch I ever took was from little Joe Choynski". I kind of like that quote and the fighters from that era. Hence the screen name.

Me too!! Good name I remember a story about him being in jail with Johnson(who he beat as a pup)they had an Ex and got arrested. Johnson gave him a lot of credit for teaching him even while they were in a cell lol. He did well with a young Jeffiries too if I remember.

There can be a decent way to kill off a character also. I well remember years back when they killed my beloved Captain Kirk To those who did not grow up with the original Star Trek...it would be hard to explain the impact Star Trek had on some of us.

Frankly what kept me out of jail, reformitory an in school was a combination of books, really street smart guys in the hood who would lace us up, and Star Trek. Yes Captain Kirk and his adventures gave me hope and the ability to look at something that required thought and understanding. When they had to eventually kill him off...I had to really keep it together in the theatre lol. But they did it tastefully and I always respected those star trek movies for that reason, that and Kahn...He was played so well!!!! lol.
