    heres a good one

Orlando Salidad Beating up Juan Ma. I can never tease Larry for his prognosticating regarding Bronner because I did him one worse lol.

Im looking at the lightweights coming up and see this guy who looks to me like a miniature Louis...has the Puerto Rican/Cuban regime of knowing the ring down pat...I see this kid cutting the ring and Knocking people out. I think I am seeing the rarity a lightweight with real bona fide power and the ability to use it as a puncher...I am thinking Trinidad, etc...

Well Salidad exposed this kid and that was it... Did it twice for good measure.

Corrie was not exactly unknown, he did have fights with former world Champion Rahman , he fought 2 former world cruiserweight champions in Bobby Czyz & Al Cole.
I believe he fought Ross Purity as well, but don’t hold me to the Purity fight.
I was at the Czyz fight in Connecticut.
          Not unknown

This one fits this category perfect.

            Dave “ TNT Tiberi
            VS
            James “ lights out Toney.

ABC wide world of sports from Atlantic City.

Possibly the worst Decision in Boxing History.

You tube this fight and you will cry for Tiberi who fought the fight of his life and his last fight I

As the late Burt Sugar said after this fight , “ Boxing has so many black eyes , it’s running out of eyes .”
            And that’s that

Hey, thanks for the suggestion. I like to go through boxrec profiles of various fighters and get lost in the wiki pages for the specific fights that have them, which is a terrible explanation and I am having trouble coming up with a better one. Anyway, the link below goes to the one that was made for the Toney vs Tiberi fight, and that's the kind of thing I mean when I say get lost reading pages on boxrec.
Awhile back, i was going through Michael Nunn's boxrec profile, and going through and reading the wiki type pages for the fights of his that have one, and I branched off to Toney's after reading the page for Nunn vs Toney*, which brought me to the link below, and ever since I have never successfully remembered to watch it any of the umpteen times I am sitting around trying to think of a fight to watch. Very intriguing fight to watch after reading what i did about it too. Again, thanks for the suggestion

*Side note, born, raised, lifelong resident of Davenport, Iowa, hometown of...Michael Nunn. Oh lord, how tough the ending of that was, and still today, is to watch. https://boxrec.com/media/index.php/J...s._Dave_Tiberi

                - -Let's not forget the unsung Thai with two names as all Thai boxers have, Sor R...vs Choco, Ring P4P #1.

Whooped the pants off him twice he did.

Crazy furriner names drive me crazy in the modern alphabet soup.

I was rewatching Nonito Donaire vs Vic Darchinyan and realized that it's another fight that could probably be classified in the manner I was thinking of. But a question that came to my mind was whether or not people/you guys/forum members, etc's, think Donaire exposed Vic as an over-hyped fighter, or do people feel Vic was the genuine goods and Donaire ruined his chin with that perfect counter bomb, or did losing to Donaire in such an absolutely devastating manner, have an equally devastating effect on Vic's ego/confidence and his boxing "heart?" Or, is it a case of "old fighter-itus" or a case of reverse prime-time? Or is it E, various amounts of some or all of the previously listed boxing maladies?

                    - -Vic a menacing bully on his way up and nonito a soft baby.

Vic had a great career, but getting starch by Nonito a major setback.

Look maybe your memory has faded a bit... that fight was many years ago. Back when guys didn't pull a bag over your head before giving you the business. So you could be forgiven for your mental absence.

But the fact is Leon was more heralded coming out of the gate. He was presumed the bigger puncher, and Michael's creative/awkward style hadn't been fully appreciated in the amateurs.
