  • --- Two Ton had shape alright and plenty of it.

I doubt he did much running or traditional boxing exercises other than bag work. He stayed in fight shape with constant sparring no matter the jelly rolls.

I remember he challenged the press to a spar after taking one too many weight questions, a bully turning on them and he cowered them.

Had I been there, I'd have volunteered in a heartbeat. I've no doubt he's faster than he looks, but there's a tape with a young Danny Green tattooing him for uncounted rounds as Toney walks thru everything, profaning him every step of the way. That was a shutout by green against a guy at least 60 lbs bigger, so he could be had.

Toney had a tremendous amount of potential, but he suffered from discipline problems outside the ring, particularly his weight and training camps. His best performances were against Barkley and Jirov. I would add Ruiz but the PED violation cost him the fight and his title.
I only saw him have a couple amateur bouts, maybe two or three. (I forget) I did hear that he had pulled down the National P.A.L though. I truly believe 35 is stretching it ..…..Rockin'

Again you have not addressed any of the points I have made.
