It wasn't named after the quality of opposition. You must be new to the sport.

No one is discussing health effects. We are discussing the evolution of Roids in sports. Back in the 70's I watched many an athlete take injections from untrained people off the street literally. No way of knowing the overall effect just in an effort to gain an edge. Today Roids are a science. The chemistry and its effect understood and with specific programs to boost their effect. Huge difference that is incomparable.

--- Oh, Houdoo Voodoo science is is now?

Docs take most all the same courses as science majors, my major, and academically they tend to be a lot smarter due to the competitive, no holds barred nature of the medical profession and they're exposed to a hell of a lot more drugs than 99.9% of the scientists who ever lived.

You remind me of kids who learn their ABCs and 123s and think they're literate math wizards.

In the modern BALCO/TUE drug cheating, drug testing cartel generation , the following should be stricken from the historical record as proven drug cheats:

          Victor McLaglen

Barbodos Joe fought as low as 133, so he's obviously a drug cheat:

--- Primo guaranteed to be on extra HGH because of his MEDICAL diagnosis of gigantism. Today the drug ****s would insist on leveling the playing field with the injections of some ****tail they make up to reduce the PED effects like they did to that female track star who passed all their drug tests and sex test but produced abnormal amounts of testosterone. Pretty soon they'' be chopping or stretching us to make us all the same size. You can't make this stuff up as truth is always been stranger than fiction, esp on this board!

Primo's buddy in crime, Abe Simon:

Battling Siki weren't just an alcoholic, he was drug cheat!

Your posts make absolutely no sense. Again Roids today are not Roids from the 70s-80's. Whether specific athletes all through history were built and cut have nothing to do with this discussion.

--- Mo' HooDoo VooDoo BALCO/TUE drug cheatism from you again is it? Are you man or mouse?

Gotta a bunch of untutored holier than thou white gloved critics convicting drug cheats based on visual observation and/or ninny grams of contamination in a world now filled with the contamination of water sources and food stuffs by big pharma and the ag biz.

Yer up to yer eyeballs and could never pass a vada regimen that most every person in the world couldn't pass.

Can you imagine the brouhaha if vada and USADA tested each other in complete transparency with test results online subjected to public commentary?

Yes I could and demand it before they are allowed another spurious drug test with them ganging up on yer scrawny veins...

You know you'd get the 19th century vapors and faint dead away!
