And technically, Tyson didn't really become champion until he was 21, a few days shy of his 22nd birthday when he beat Michael Spinks for the lineal championship. But it still makes him the youngest.

And for the longest unbeaten streak of 178 bouts for Greb didn't he have numerous newspaper decision losses which was kinda just how things worked back in his era when a fight didn't end in a KO? So technically he was unbeaten for that period of time cuz of how decisions were handled, but not really.

There have been world champions who vacated titles immediately after winning them ... eg, Sugar Ray Leonard with WBC LHW title he won from Donny Lalonde at 168lbs catchweight, so Tyson Fury as the shortest reigning champion can't be right.

It means he was the cause of more retirements than any other boxer. As in the end of a career not fight. Maybe it should be worded "career ending injuries" or some such I'm not sure. The last thing I said was I've not yet vetted any of this. I'm not sure if this record refers to injuries, demoralization, just an odd anecdote, or any sort of mix, but I can tell you I got all of these records from Guinness, Boxrec, and Wiki so if you'd like to look into now have a look around those sites. Otherwise you'll have to wait while I do research bud. Oh, and just a head's up, GWR requires an account to take full advantage of their search engine. Yeah, according to Guinness it's 145, on Boxrec it's 132. You have to sign up for an account at Guinness, but I could screenshot it if you're curious and don't want to sign up just to see Archie's record according to Guinness. As far why I have 131 I dunno, probably just a typo. Why GWR has 145 and Boxrec 132, dunno. I'll look into it, you're welcome to join me.

Well, the last thing my post said is I've yet to look into the validity of anything. I got that from either Boxrec, Guinness World Records, or Wiki. Maybe I should have put Heavyweight reign? If you want to look into it before I have a chance to myself you're welcome to. I'm not sure right off if Tyson's the shortest HW reign, or if there's some other form of semantics that disqualifies situations like the one you've explained, or if it's just wiki BS.

Most of them are semantics when you look into them. Like Pac's weight divisions thing only being true because it wasn't possible in the past.
