He's still trying to question Scully over in the Thunderdome.

When your trolling gets to the point that you are attempting to discredit real boxers then it's gone way too far in my opinion. The mods should put a leash on him already.

South West Florida is in the tropics, comes with the territory!

For those interested, I don't keep ANY memorabilia with me. All that stuff was given away to all the fighters from my gyms many years ago. My son had 3 or 4 albums and I had him send me a few clips and it took a while. Unlike elroy we have lives to live!
Secondly this isn't for elroy or juggy or any other azzhole who bothers everyone here. I had people ask me about my past before so here it comes.

My family will be back in town this weekend and I can get a few things posted with their help.

Elroy or whatever your name is, your a fool and your behavior should eliminate you from any adult forum. Why your put up with is a mystery to everyone now.
Your clearly a punk and in person I would introduce you to the sky, once you woke up, if you did!

I understand this fools nonsense will continue but at least he will once again be singled out as a total fool. Both of these boys are liars and punks!

Thanks for the suggestions about posting, I will try again tonight after I finish in the yard!

      Ray
I can relate...been shovelling snow now for days...pain in the rear. i ran into similar problems with trolls regarding martial arts. People say anything because they can get away with it and for some of us from a more traditional background it can be infuriating.

I don't understand people Ray...I once said something in a post that offended a guy who practices Kali ( a southasian art). It wasn't intentional (I think he actually misread the comment...don't remember offhand) and the guy was half across the country, not really a threat to me lol. So what did I do? I apologized. It had not been my intention to anger him in the first place and we became good friends. Today its like people can't do that and seek out conflict. Elroy does not have the stones to know when he is out of line, thats the bottom line.

If you post these pics it will become evident even when he tries to move the goalposts that he was wrong.

i'll echo something that's already been said:

ray appears genuine to everybody who matters.

old dudes who know a lot about boxing are all goign to have the ego that comes with spending time in the sport. they're going to think they know what is right, and that young people should shut up and listen.

it's obvious that ray developed this mentality because he TAUGHT KIDS HOW TO BOX

ray is who he says he is. elroy is a troll. what that means, ray, is that he's a pathetic person who gets amused by pulling your leg. he's just trying to rile you up. don't pay him any attention, and he'll really start to squirm. you don't owe him anything, and none of the decent history posters have doubts about who you say you are. that doesn't mean we're going ot agree on everything, as we value our own knowledge and expertise, but we do recognize and respect your background.

elroy is one of those sad dudes who spends his entire day on bscene going from alt to alt. he may be bedridden, for all we know. i try not to look too far into what motivates the bull-goose trolls. it's sad.

Ray's adopted son (Ray Bright) won the coveted Ohio State fair twice and won the New England Golden Gloves with 1985. Ray C has definitely been around!

            true / false:

chad dawson would have been one of the best fighters of his generation if he let his damn hands go.

Chad is from Ring One New Haven under Brian Clarke who was a young member of Ring One Hamden under me. My son tells me that Chads dad was a member at Ring One Hamden back in the 70's but I don't remember him, far to many kids came and went from 1969 thru 1987-8, then Brian took over when I retired. I heard that Chad has gone back to Ring One and Brian and thats what he needs to do. You need to get back to the basics and back with the "eyes" who know you best. Brian does a great job with kids, he is a no nonsense trainer who started handling fights when I still ran the gym. He took fighters to tourney's all over the country when I had other commitments.
My son won the Ohio State Fair Nationals with Brian & Mac in his corners so I can't take much credit for that hahahaha......well I did train him anyways HA!

ok I have broken down spouts to deal with and down trees too. Its raining right now and the gutters and spouts need attention right now, more rain on the way.

I'll deal with lil' elroid soon enough.......

Chads father boxed back in the day and had a few pro fights down south. Never fought in Connecticut.

I think Ray was thinking of Alan Dawson who was a pro drummer in the mid 60's to late 70's in New Haven who I thing came to Ring One just to work out.
Back then allowed non competitive members because they help fund the kids who earned to go to the events. My biggest job became funding the gym, it was a never ending must! I took 10% off the top of the pros when they fought as a donation back to the non profit gym. Some didn't like but I told them they could go fight for old man Russo in Bridgeport hahaha......no one left!

I should say John that Ray said that Brian was happy that Chad went to you when he did. He thought you'd be able to reach him and get him going in the right direction. I heard about Chad as a little kid through Ray and he kept me aware of his growth as a J.O. into open class.

ok new gutters are here so I must "direct" the operations.......

                    ^^This is gold...

"Don't worry about detractors Ray, you've already satisfied us!"

                    And now..

"He didn't even know who Scully was!!"

                    Pure genius!

Actually the questions I asked him were extremely simple ones which are necessary to explain the holes in Ray's story. The fact they are not answered is a little bit more than a little suspect.

As for the validity of John Scully- it's just a name on a BoxingScene account!
