Roy Jones sr. fought Hagler. That ain't bad. Tito sr. fought Sanchez. A forum full of buffs must know more. Laila Ali is not a son, so does not count here.

Well you just mentioned a couple names superseded by their sons.

Angel Garcia was also a fighter but we all know his son has been better.

Then, father's far superior to their sons, are the likes of Chavez and Camacho and then Montiel Sr had 3 sons, all of whom won some sort of title but we all know who the best was. Then, the famous Ricardo Lopez actually has a son who I think is currently boxing.
