ray i meant no disrespect to max in my comments just pointing he took a shot from one of the most fearsome punchers in boxing history to a very vulnerable area. max scheming besides being a very underrated champion is one of the most honorable people in all of boxing he shielded ***ish people from **** persecution and came to Joe Louis aid financially long before the us government gave up there hounding of Joe for back taxes

Right. That is why those guys paralyzed to the body are crying out but not crying, as in squalling, or as in visibly breaking up emotionally.

I seem to remember McCall unravelling emotionally, not Lewis.

With a solar plexus shot there is just an ooof! which even paralyzes speech. I dread that shot to the bread basket. Probably even more effective when gloves were smaller, and bareknuckle hell.
