People always say Eubank was "shot" when he fought Calzaghe. I disagree, he still had a lot of fight left in him (even in the Thompson fights), but of course he was far removed from his prime. So, how would the Eubank who fought Watson and Benn fare against prime Calzaghe from 1997-2007?

Eubank was at the tail-end of his career and Calzaghe was a young lion, Former title holder Steve Collins had ran terrified of facing Joe Calzaghe, but Eubanks fought a tremendous battle with his younger opponent, climbing off the canvas in the opening round to then fight toe-to-toe for 12 excellent rounds of boxing. It is very difficult to say how Eubank would have fared if he was younger and fresher, he was a very tough competitor who fought at his opponents pace. So the harder Calzaghe fought, the harder Eubank would have fought. Who would have won we will never know.

Probably go with Calzaghe.
I only ever saw one impressive performance in Eubank's career and that was the first Benn fight.

Eubank struggled and got gift decisions against a lot of the bums he fought that's the difference between the two.

But I know you have a disdain for Calzaghe, so I'm not even going to try and debate it with you...
