I need for Wilder, Fury, Jennings and Povetkin to fight each other once the big dog retires.

I like Parker and Joshua coming up too. Usyk maybe too if he handle the step up to HW.

The answer may be partially contingent on results. If there is anything that really stinks about the fight, like bad refereeing or a horrible call, it will not breathe life into the collapsed body of the sport.

Only an event that lives up to its hype on every level will breathe any life back or create any revival at all.

If fans are even mildly disappointed, wouldn't that just be business as usual for boxing, as people go away grumbling again?

If past is precedent, get ready for another black eye and the respirator for boxing.
The fight was another nail in the coffin and maybe the final straw being broken. Everyone I have spoken to were disgusted by Floyd's tactics.

Tonight, at 9:30 PM lokal time, one of our sports channels here in Denmark will open with the Sturm-Chudinov card from Germany, followed by Matchroom Boxing from Birmingham... before we go live to Houston, Texas at 3AM Sunday morning for the Alvarez-Kirkland fight. This will probably last about 3 hours, so around 6 tomorrow morning I will finally be able to hit the sack... somewhat groggy after having watched more than 8 hours of non-stop boxing from 3 different countries! Which, by the way, is more boxing than we had on Danish TV during the ENTIRE DECADE of the 60s... when I startet to get interested in the sport.

What I mean to say is... in my part of the world, this is a great time to be a boxing fan!
