I thought the same thing to be honest.

I've read a few threads on here & you seem very critical of Lewis.

That's fair enough, but to suggest he used PED's just so you have something to talk about on a forum seems OTT & is out of place for an ATG.

Discussing Lewis in a negative way to spark debate, is an agenda of sorts.

Id have to say its pretty good topic because you know it opens doors to many fighters, including his favorite Holyfield who is a known ped user,so I think its a fair topic. While I disagree with practically everything he says,he does bring up legit questions here.checking this out myself Lewis did not take a steroid test prior to Ruddock and refused ,wheather this is b/c he was on them or just not wanting to comply to Ruddock is speculation.

I think it's disrespectful to the fighters to suggest without hard evidence. Speculating PED use for Lewis is a big leap & the suggestion of it is an attempt to smear Lewis's legacy in the interest of debate.

Ruddok had been stopped before he fought Lewis.
Lewis was a Gold medalist & an undefeated fighter. To suggest Lewis juiced for the fight is ludicrous and disrespectful to an ATG & the sport.

That's why its a forum to state opinions, its not a news channel otherwise you would have a point.weather people believe him or not its their call it doesn't change anything.Steroids/peds of different kinds have been around in many sports since the 60's so it is what it is....speculation for a serious topic.Ruddock fighting a mean Tyson has nothing to do if lewis took steroids or not,he fought no one prior to Ruddocks abilities, this isn't to say he was on them or afterward..Boxing commissions didn't start to really test until the mid 90's so it is a valid debate.I believe many of the top 90's guys were on them.Who were they is only speculation.holyfield/Morrison and botha were most certainly on them by either getting caught or admitting to it.i know theres more but off my head cant remember.

It's a forum for fans of boxing. It's not a platform to slander ATG just because they made their fame & fortune in the sport.
            Without proof it's unfounded rumours

Off tangent, look at the damage to Pac's reputation caused by Floyds unfounded allegations, or open discussions with the media.
Consider that Floyd is now facing Pac & using Ariza for S&C & it undermines the allegations further...the damage is still done though.

In Floyd's case the damage was caused by his bitterness & envy.

In this case it seems like the OP is attempting to discredit Lewis.

Ruddock had fought nobody until he fought Tyson. Before he fought Tyson he'd been beaten by a guy that nobody knows today.

To suggest Lewis used PED is an insult to his legacy & to speculate that he used them to face Ruddock is beyond far fetched.

Essentially you are speculating that all top boxers pre mid 90's were cheats?
Does it only apply to HW's?

              Lewis ****d him through Tyson.

              He's scarred for life.

i would say you are "Spot On" here.. Holyfield IS my favorite fighter and it does open me up for a fail.. Yet i am willing to discuss the topic which i have started. Holyfield included.

My opinion is that at least 90% of boxers over the last 30yrs use PEDs... Yet if i made this thread stating that.. then it would have been hijacked by Lewis fanboys claiming their man was always drug-free

If you were discussing the WWE wrestling I might agree with you.
A minimum of 90% of boxers over the past 30 years is outrageous
