Lewis certainly earned the right to retire on his own terms. He had been in the game a long time and his skills were declining. Now if he fought Kirk Johnson instead of giving Vitali a rematch, that's a problem. But Lennox deserves credit for retiring with his money and his brains before embarrassing himself.

People don't understand that Vitali meant zero to Lewis. He wasn't in his era. He was just the new kid on the block. He wasn't part of the shenanigans in the 90s.

It meant nothing to Lewis to beat Vitali again.

They were clearly caused by punches. The initial cut was caused by a right cross at the beginning of round 3 and it progressively got worse as Lewis pounded Vitali's face. It's not Lewis' fault that Vitali has paper skin.
