People forget that Chambers actually went through pretty much most of anyone who was anyone. Add to that he went 12 rounds with Wlad and you have yourself a pretty decent heavyweight.

Definitely Ike. He was getting heat then. Byrd was never a draw.

Extremely good accomplishments. Imagining that he used to fight for $40 when he first started out it just shows how much of an underdog story he has an he made it all the way to the top. And his resume has quite a lot of quality.

It's only recently he's been fighting journeymen.

Meanwhile the postman that succumbed to Vlad's ******* was a prime fighting machine ready to DELIVER the goods?
No idea what you're going on about.

But no Lewis resume isn't horrendous.

      It's just not that good.

Yes I know who Floyd Patterson is, spare me the history lesson. It's funny that you rubbish Lewis' title reign but exalt Patterson's championship accomplishments when his title reign was a complete joke. Defending his title against the like of Pete Rademacher who had zero pro fights and bums like Brian london and Tom Mcneely. Yes he was certainly a very good fighter in his day but it isn't inaccurate to say that he had a glass chin. He was floored more than any other HW champion in history at 20 times. Yeah I know he had heart he got up many times but getting floored on that many occasions showed his chin was thin. He also wasn't even a real HW by modern day standards.

I just don't see Lewis with his physical gifts and technical proficiency having any problems dealing with a glass chinned boxer who he is outreached by 13 inches, shorter by 7 inches and outweighed by more than 3 stone.
          Lewis with his technical proficiency????

Saying "you stink out the joint" as a reason for not getting the titleshot that you have earned is lame. Fact of the matter is that Lennox refused to fullfill his mandatory obligations. We can debate whether that is a duck or not, but regardless of that it's clear that those fights is not easy wins.

              Byrd twice
              PETER first time
              Brock
              Sultan
              Povetkin
              Haye
              Thompson
              Are all credible wins

If wlad can add fury and wilder to his list then it becomes even closer with lennox..

Hurts wlad that vitali took care of Chisora, adamek, arreola because those would have been solid wins as well
You even left out his best win or at least a top 3 one namely Chagaev. I'd also have Pulev in there.

I think chageav was a good win. he had his weight down for wlad. hes looked terrible ever since but he was a good boxer when he was younger and trimmer

Yes. Let's forget that Lewis actually went to court with the WBA because he had already signed to fight Grant who HBO wanted him to fight.

He was more than happy to fight Ruiz after the Grant fight (when WBA came up with a mysterious mandatory), but Ruiz didn't want Lewis - he wanted a belt.

With regards to Byrd, it's common knowledge that Don King paid Lewis step aside money.

Once again, the thought of Lewis ducking the likes of Ruiz and Byrd to fight guys like Tyson or Grant or Klitschko is just ridiculous.

THEY ducked Lewis (Don King), not the other way around. King knew Lewis would smack those guys around like ragdolls, and safely kept his "champions" away from him (byrd) or wanted to get his fighter (holyfield) to fight for a vacant title against Ruiz.

he took the fight on 2 weeks notice and had just fought Matt Skelton.

And whilst he might be considered a decent win, in no way shape or form could he ever be considered a top 3 win for Wlad.

                      He has absolutely zero skills.
