I dislike joe cortez especially the way he acted in the mayweather vs hatton fight.

I like arthur mercante jr, what he did in foreman vs cotto, throwing out the towel was a cool move.

Is that the guy from Texas whose day job is insuring boxers? He would not have any ulterior concerns, would he? He owns an insurance agency with his daddy, if this is the right guy, and they specialize in insurance for boxers.

I want a good, clean fight. And don't hurt each other, now, or your rates could go up. Only in boxing.

Yeah that is him, it is pure nepotism that has him refereeing top fights in the State. I don't think he has ulterior motives, he is just incompetent, he just doesn't see anything and has no control. To have such a person responsible for two men's health is bordering on the criminal.

Tony Perez was awful for Frazier/Ali II.

He allowed Ali to constantly hold Joe and push his head down.

Isn't this ref pretty much the most infamously incompetent one? There's like a series of videos on youtubes highlighting his mistakes.

I liked him better outside the ring, chewing on gum like a mobster and rocking that blazer he stole from the Star Wars set (do all commissioners have to wear that or something?). Nah, Larry was an excellent ref as well.
