Mayweather needs a shout out here, as much as it pains me to say it.

Limited output and high accuracy? I've heard that said by announcers when watching old Chavez Sr. fights too, but I'm guessing his output was higher for his early fights.

I think Liston deserves a shout here!
Not saying he was as good - but he reminds me a bit of Louis, in that he went about things in a very calm, controlled way, missing very few punches when he went in for the kill. Especially the destruction of Williams (2nd fight) was highly impressive, the way he was on target with almost every punch in the final round.

James J Braddock was unerringly accurate against both Baer and Louis. Wasted very, very little.
Hagler. The economy was astounding from him, and I got the impression, too, that he didn't pass on openings. Sometimes fighters determined to hit do that, you usually see them failing miserably to pull the trigger a tthe end of their careers.
Right now we got Jaun Manuel Marquez, Floyd Mayweather and Roman Gonzalez, all absolutely pin-point.
From the recent past, Ricardo Lopez, like Louis, was insane at very high torque. Sometimes he would punch where a guy used to be, had he not been decked by the last two shots.
Wilfredo Gomez, Carlos Zarate, Vicente Saldivar, Luis Rodriguez and Miguel Canto would be other good mentions I think. Tommy Hearns before he gut sluggish was lazer-guided almost.
