    I found it very interesting. For years(before internet) fight fans had very limited exposure to Japanese boxers. Glad that has changed.

      Terrific fighter from Japan was "Fighting" Harda, he was a great competitor and was an action fighter!! He won world titles at Flyweight & Bantamweights.
      Not a big puncher but was only stopped twice in 65 bouts.
      True crowd pleasure!!

        Should have been three world titles but for Willie Pep.


        Good list. Think Oguma should be somewhere in the 10 though.

          correct me if im wrong, but the majority of japanese boxers tend to fight with the mentality that they are there to trade huge bombs with every punch.. (less boxing, lots of slugging)
