I'm the king of the world, I am the greatest, I’m Muhammed Ali, I shook up the world, I am the greatest, I'm king of the world, I'm pretty, I'm pretty, I'm a baaaad man, you heard me I'm a baaad man, Archie Moore fell in four, Liston wanted me more, so since he's so great, I'm a make him fall in eight, I'm a baaad man, I'm king of the world! I'm 22 years old and ain’t gotta mark on my face, I'm pretty, I easily survived six rounds with that ugly bear, because I am the greatest. - Muhammad Ali

However there has been a lot of great fighters.
You aren't going to outbox him, he's too fast and too long. Too talented basically.
And he had a great brain behind all this. He knew when to box and when to go to war, and he mostly went to war because guys couldn't trade with him, he's simply too fast and powerful.
Im basing this on some of my own boxing experience too, its suicide trading shots with big puncher who has fast hands. Your gonna get eaten.
And you cant outbox a 5"11 welterweight (and remembering with same day weigh ins ray would have been at 135 for a little longer..) with world class jab, speed and movement, you gotta go after him and knock him out...and then Robinsons power comes back into play.
The only guy who could outbox ray is Tommy hearns imo. Ray would have to go after him and knock his ass out. Tommy trumps him in reach and almost matches him for speed, with one of the greatest jabs ever.Last edited by Suckmedry; 12-10-2014, 08:20 PM.

Henry Armstrong
I would say Henry Armstrong. When comparing boxers from the past to the present, you have to take into account that boxing is very different today. Armstrong is the iron man of boxing. Take a look at his record: 150-21-10. He had 101 KOs. That's nuts.
