I go with this too, for the longer title reign. It's always close though.

I picked Joe Louis but it isn't a sure thing. Its interesting because Ali fought way better opposition but I would have Louis wearing down and stopping Ali if they fought Prime for Prime. So does that make Louis better because he would beat Ali (in my opinion) head to head, or does it make Ali better because he beat better caliber fighters? I really don't know

Clearly Ali is number one. Best resume, fastest hands and feet, and one of the best chins ever. Plus amazing heart.

IMHO for me it is Ali, opposition wise and head to head in a trilogy I favor Ali 2-1

Ali in every way except for consistency/title reign but both men had different circumstances.

                Ali all the way.
Knockout power, handspeed, footwork, reflexes, granite chin, great balls, showman.Imagine if he hadn't been suspended at the pick of his career. We wouldn't have this conversation.
Plus he can only ''Ali shuffle".

By virtue of his power (more KO's) and longer (longest?) reign, the edge goes to one Joseph Louis Barrow.
