hearns often did IF he didnt get his man out of there early. blasted most guys out like he should, but if it went rounds he would lose his intensity in a way he didnt against top fighters.
he started showboating and playing around too much and would only work sporadically. even that work would at times be rather sloppy as he would just look for the KO and not invest as much in setting it up as he did with better fighters.
