I for one, think we're very fortunate to have him around in our lifetime..
People can pick at his resume until the cows come home, but he's pluggin on nicely in the longevity stakes
Agreed, for the record he is actually my favourite fighter and I think Leonard is a prick
Love him or hate him the man is nothing short of an artist and an ATG, the best of his era and one of the finest if not thee finest i ever saw. I dont particularly like him though u may note he's in my sig list, this is because i came to realize id rather watch him fight live and record other fighters, he does things that as a real fight fan take your breathe away...
His career path hasnt been what id have liked but its a ****e site better than "atg" Calzaghie's and lets be honest u can pick apart any fighters career and decisions/opponents
Defensively, he's up there with Sweet Pea, offensively, not the most scintillating (zzz) fighter ever, overall, I'd rank him 20-25.
U know what, ive come to think he is even better than Sweet Pea and perhaps the best ever...
Love to see Cholo chase him outta the ring though, bash up those kidneys a lil u know!
I've not attempted to change his legacy... Just said what it is
Benitez, Duran, Hearns and Hagler are 4 of the elite, and I'm not dis*****g that.
But to suggest Mayweather hasn't faced anyone better than Ayub Kalule, is a little over the top don't you think.. JMM, DLH, Cotto and Canelo, aren't as great, but are all a bit better than the Ugandan imo..
Fundamentally however, nobody knows the full extent of Floyd's legacy just yet..
For all we know, he could move up again, and start whooping middleweights.. But in the meantime, there's Khan, Maidana. or the winner of Bradley Pacquiao II for him to think about.. Suppose we'll just have to wait and see....
Guys like GGG emerging, could make things interesting.... But with his radar like defence, I just can't see anyone hitting him precisely and accurately.. Has faced his fair share of punchers, Corrales and Ndou in particular.. Not quite in the same power league as Hearns, who I'm certain was responsible for Leonard's eye surgery...
Even at 36, I'm predicting Floyd, to stay healthy, and be even greater than SRL...
Red K me if I'm wrong lol
Nice to see Ndou get some respect he was a dangerous man, real ****er. They say his bad feet spoiled what could have been something awesome
U know what, ive come to think he is even better than Sweet Pea and perhaps the best ever...

Frankly, I have no problem that. In fact, let's annoint him the greatest defensive boxer ever! Be that as it may, his counter-punching offensive output is still snooze-inducing.
I don't suppose that by "Cholo," you're referring to Duran, are you?

U know it baby!
People refer to the SRL rematch when talking Duran vs Mayweather but Duran was a better fighter, a different animal altogether in the first fight
