Greb, Langford, Walker are the guys i would have the most confidence in since they proved they could beat top Heavyweights after them Halgler, Toney, Ketchell and Darcy.

No idea but I doubt it would be the obvious great middleweights, more like guys who were really fast on their feet and who were defensive specialists.

Sugarj's suggestion of Graham and Jones jr looks like stronger options to me than someone like Hagler.

His elusiveness was coupled with a wonderful streak of spitefulness in the ring. I don't think I could rule out Robinson taking a chance of trying to hurt Mike with one of those wide footed flurries that had more leverage than a Russian billionaire at a London football club.

I don't necessarily think that he'd run for the full round. Which would be a problem.

I would pick anyone hard to hit - a middleweight Sweet Pea. Having a good chin and good power is not going to cut it. Greb was hard to hit (before he lost his sight); Burley was supposed to be impossible to hit at times; Roy Jones was fast - real fast. Could an older SRR move fast enough?

He had the speed to worry any middleweight and enough power to cause permanent damage to a guy weighing up to 60Lbs less!

Hagler had a great chin, but I'm sure he wouldn't survive a round........not elusive enough, the gap in power and punishment would probably be too much. Tyson would have no fear of what was coming back and would simply walk him down. Any middleweight who could survive 3 mins with 'that' Tyson would have to be extremely elusive.

One guy I'd pay to watch try would be a prime Herol Graham. He might not have become a world champion, but at his very best....when he was in his zone you couldn't hit him with a handful of rice. He might have had a 3 minute chance of survival!

Middleweight Roy Jones jnr might be a giggle too!
Herol Graham! Good choice. It has to be someone elusive enough to stay away.

I still wouldn't bet on him pulling it off, he'd just be my top choice.

It might seem to be an odd choice given that there are so many higher ranked middleweights in history, many who would......and did beat Graham. But I can categorically state that I've not seen a middleweight in history who at his best was better at slipping head punches early on in a fight.

Hagler, Robinson, Toney and Monzon had superior chins, but 19 year old Tyson was sending heavyweights who outweighed him flying all over the ring, some were unlucky to be hit by rapid combinations whilst on the way down from knockout punches.

To be a middleweight and survive one round with 19 year old Mike, you quite simply cannot afford to be hit, to the head or body. Prime Herol Graham is as good a choice as I can think of......
