I was a big Michael Carbajal fan back in the day; and that's a good question.

I'm not sure if another jr. flyweight ever punched as hard as he did. The only one that come to mind is a British fighter (I think) from the early 1900's who went by the nickname, "The Ghost"....once again, I believe. It was years ago that I read an article about him and looked at his record....and, well, I've slept since then. I know this sounds like b.s. and I apologize; but if I remember correctly, he had heavyhands for such a small dude and was knocking out much bigger men in the mines he worked in as a teen. ...which is why he started boxing.

I'll try to find the info.

the ghost huh right on let me know what you find I did love watching Carbajal fight he was a fun one to watch one of my favorites of all time funny how I personally am 6'3" 250lbs and I would rather watch a fight between 2 sub 150 pound fighters than the Heavies anyday

I prefer workrate and footwork to big KO haymakers

German Torres was another powerhouse in the light flyweight division.

Don't forget Antonio Avelar. He's maybe the hardest puncher ever at flyweight and below. He was pretty basic skillwise but oh my, he hit frightening hard.
