    pedroza's a legend. always seemed to be the bigger stronger guy in there even if he mighta been slower than some, he would eventually knock the aggression outta opponents with a body shot here and there. anyone here agree with me that lockrige was robbed in the first fight? just one last thing, mcguigan was good but he got the old end of the run version of pedroza

        A few of Pedroza's title defenses were very close (Lockridge, LaPorte, Taylor). He wasn't what I would call a dominant champion.

          The Laporte fight is one I watched recently. Pedroza was getting away with blatant fouls throughout that fight.

            Felt Bernard Taylor beat Eusebio in a close fight, but Bernard didn't distinguish himself by the way he was fighting in his hometown, a la James Tillis against Mike Weaver.
