nobody ever heard of diego chico corrales? really? well u probly never heard of Michael carbajal neither, here's one out the history files, I don't think anyone ever actually seen him fight on film even but bob fitsimmons from new Zealand in every photo looks rail thin, legend has it that he had a knack of flattening bigger guys with a solar plexus shot

A good shout was Felix Trinidad. He didn't look powerful at all. Morrales either. Nor Pavlik, or Diego Corrales.

Oscar isn't really 5'10 but even then just because you are tall for the weight doesn't mean you are skinny, its about how you are built. Here is a picture of Oscar from the Olympics he wasn't even skinny back then

Also Pavlik was definitely not skinny.

I watched his fight against Thaim with a mate who never knew who either was, a casual fan, and he looked at the two fighters saw Thaim's bulky muscles and said "that guy will kill the skinny dude!"

              WRONG!

Dwight Muhammad Qawi was around 5 f 5½″ and beat up big Cruiserweights which is unheard of. But he was strong still.
Guys like Chico Corrales, Arguello and De la Hoya were kinda "skinny" looking, but at the same time they were very big and strong for that weight class. So skinny is misleading somehow because the other guys from that weight class had mostly the same body only were they 2 or 3 or 4 inches shorter in height.
