Ricardo Lopez deserves mention. Many will bring up weight divisions but I personally think too much stock is put into that idea. But if I had to pick one, I would pick Benny Leonard, Jofre, Pep. Monzon wasn't too shabby either.

Ricardo Lopez? His resume is absolutely noway near the best.
It could probably be argued he has one of the weakest resumes of any ATG.

greb, robinson, ali, armstrong, and langford. those aren't in order, but that's what i feel is the top tier of boxing resume.

Meh, impressive but I would go with Greb as number 1.
"He's probably the worst racist in sports history."
...and you are probably the most racist poster currently posting in the history section. Very transparent, and making you look kinda dumb.

Does this mean Jack Johnson was the "best racists"?
We all say and even do things as young men we wouldn't do as we grow older. I believe Ali went through more drastic changes than most people do and along the line had to grow up with some extra pains. His over zealous promo with Frazier was way out of line and theres other situation too. Then theres trying to negotiate hostages freedom too. Ali is and was a complicated man who I think would have prefered to be anonomous at times.
Today he lives quiety and has loved ones by his side. All things considered he's doing well. He was completely unique in his approach to boxing, a combination of Jack Johnson meets Sugar Ray Robinson = Ali the Greatest!

ray robinson?
meh.
whether or not you like a fighter has nothing to do with an evaluation of his resume.

I realize that but you can't pretend that Ali or Robinson were not de****able as human beings. They both were. I also understand Robinson had a good resume but for my money I would go with Pep,Greb, and Duran with the better resumes. I think Robinson gets overrated because people believe they're supposed to say he's the greatest.
