The 1st. round of Hagler/Hearns remains the best I've ever seen, and has a good chance of becoming the best I will ever see. That fight packed more action in three minutes than I've seen some yawners produce in going the distance. The most remarkable thing about that fight is that it pitted fighters of opposite stances against each other when the vast majority of such matches result in futile attempts to land a clean shot.
Though this one is not on the level of those listed Sechew Powell-Cornelius Bundrage I was another classic first round which if memory serves me right, produced a double knockdown.
