The govt wouldn't give them equality but expected him to fight their war? What the **** is your problem you worthless piece of horse****? I guess you like ignorant little ****s who live their lives degrading people who accomplish 10,000 times what they could in their trivial lives, so that some sort of self satisfaction is possible? I gather this because you are one.

a) The war was wrong, even someone as right-wing as me admits it. People finally came around to this in the 70s, and Ali's public portrayal became positive, and he transferred from being the most hated man in the USA, to the most loved in the world. Only ignorant little sods like yourself can't see that.

b) He didn't "DODGE" anything! Did he run to Canada like the other dodgers? Did he hide himself in a cave? **** no! He stood their and faced the government, toe-to-toe, and told them he was ready, willing and able to go to jail before he went and killed innocent people who never "called him ******".

c) Do you understand the times? Civil rights movement? Blacks were still getting lynched, and non getting served in restaurants, especially in the South. Ali was raised in a segregated community, and had been hated by whites throughout his childhood. Then they come along, and TELL him to go and fight FOR THEM, when his people have no rights right there in America.

d) Islamic religion forbidded him fighting in the war.

I have to agree you can never call Ali a draft dodger it is one of the things that makes him great i'm sure i've heared it is one of the toughest battles he has ever faced! About the Islamic Community do you think they used Ali a bit? Annother thing vietnam how come so many poor blacks where sent and nor rich white americans did we all forget the US president!
