Yeah Tyson, De La Hoya, Roy Jones, possibly Hopkins because of his long reign at middleweight. His fight with Trinidad drew a lot of fans. I'd also throw in Mayweather and Pacquiao, as they seem to be the only mainstream draws in boxing today. Chavez-Martinez is surprisingly on pay per view though. Not sure how many buys that will garner though.

Hopkins? Hopkins couldnt draw SH#T his whole career. His numbers were always complete garbage. Btw same is true for guys like Shane Mosley and Roy Jones: they were never big PPV attractions.

I was hyped to watch Martinez-Chavez until I saw the $50 price tag. Floyd Mayweather these guys are not, although Martinez has ATG potential in my opinion.

Women know Tyson as the defendant in their sexual harassment suits.

Ali is known the world over as a fighter and an ambassador. He fought legendary wars in the ring... he was a divisive political figure... he remains an icon on the world stage. He sold out arenas in obscure corners of the world. He lit the Olympic Torch in 1996. His commentary after 9/11 was played on every news station.

Tyson was just a thug who was hyped as the next big thing, who ended up getting knocked out in every test he ever had. The only thing entertaining about Tyson is the hilarious way he completely ruined his personal and financial lives.
