If? It's really hard for me to relate to a "what if" because its not reality. If Roy Jones would have beat the count in Tarver 2 and won would there still have been a third fight? If Sugar Ray Leonard employed the same strategy in Duran 3 as he did in Duran 1 would he still have been victorious? If my uncle happened to have a sex-change would he then be considered my aunt?! I guess its interesting to speculate what may have happened in certain situations but theres no denying it is what it is.

When you say Marciano would have run through Louis' opposition undefeated then YOU are also engaging in speculation. It works both ways.

An opinion based on SPECULATION. If it's out of bounds for others to speculate then it's equally out of bounds for you to do the same. You don't get to have it both ways.

What was "out of bounds?"

I guess theres different kinds of speculation. My preferred kind of speculation is taking into account what ATG fighters had accomplished based on facts of their careers and giving an opinion on if the situation was different. And thats not an easy thing to do. I don't think I take it to extremes(altering ATG's records and such..)
