It would be a good fight, but Sanchez was a cut above even a great like Barrera. I could see a stoppage in a 15 round fight, maybe a 12.

Sanchez rarely stopped a challenger who didn't come right at him. The 126lb Barrera was more of a technician than the 122lb version. I think MAB would give Sal pure hell, but fall short after Sanchez dominates the CHAMPIONSHIP rounds.

At 126 Barrera was more Boxer than Brawler tho had some fire left in him when called for so i see more of a long tactical match with some fiery exchanges, alot like the Barrera vs Marquez fight actually. Man this is a tough fight to call but im picking Sanchez, he's bigger and Barrera as great as he was, had off nights and if he had one against Sal he'd be in trouble

Barrera has a better jab than Sanchez and is more adept fighting from the outside

Good point about Barrera's style at 126. It should be a good fight, but if Barrera boxes, he is pretty much ceding defeat as he cannot outbox Sanchez at all.
