How long would Marciano last against Vitali?

It's hard to judge how this fight would go I'm sure I looked at Rocky's record and he didn't face anyone near as tall or heavy as Vitali.

Rocky would have to be stopped by something out of his control, he isn't giving up or being knocked out.

I dont know about Wlad. The question is his chin obviously. The only way Wlad loses is via KO. Marciano would not have a chance in a distance fight IMO.

Wlad's chin looked shaky at best in the early stages of his career. The last few years it has looked much better, but obviously not granite or in the class of his older brother.

I don't see Rocco going out to the type of punches either Klitschko throws. They're too safe. Walcott weighs quite a bit less, but puts quite a bit more of his weight into his heavy punches. You do his memory a disservice. IMO Rocky's proven he's willing to take more than Vitali has even shown he's willing to give.

Rocky had the power to knockout Vitali, make no mistake about that. Plus, he fights small. Just like Klitschko fights big. Rocky would neutralize the reach, and prove the 185lbs of Marciano is more man than 250lbs of Vitali can handle. IMO the day he quit on his seat was the day I knew Marciano would own that bum. No quitter could ever beat Marciano. His heart will get you in the end. Title Bout has Rocky knocking out Vitali 37 times to Vitali's first win...which was by decision. I run the sim with no 3 knockdown rule. no mandatory 8, and 15 rd fights.

Vitali throws 1,000 punches a fight. Add to that the 250 lbs and it is clear that the 180 lb Rocky has a serious task in front of him. Wheter Marciano had the power to KO Vitali is doubtful at best. Lummox landed a couple of terrific shots that appeared much harder than anything a man of Rockys size could ever dream of delivering.

And personally I dont give a damn about some computerprogram especially not one made in America. Hell a computer even gave Rocky the KO over Ali.

Sir, I dunno what you think you've discredited, but I didn't mention anything that has to do with out put, nor did I mention anything that can be changed by output. I talked about the type of punches thrown didn't I? So, now I'll reword. Vitali throws like a *****. He's reserved, or not fully committed. He leaves no room for the counter in short. These punches though coming from a larger man than Rocky's faced are not harder than the punches Rocky's absorbed. If you weigh 100 lb and you put 75lbs into your punch and your opponent weighing 80 lbs puts all of his weight into every punch than you sir outweigh and hit softer. 1000 **** punches. There's not a man alive who could handle 1000 Marciano punches. There IS a trade there buddy.

There is no man, possible, who can take a clean Marciano full power shot. The durometer potential for the human skull isn't even close to the kinetic potential in Rocky's fist. In fact, any man weighing 175lbs or more has the weight to kill. So why don't big men kill each other....ever? It's due to having a larger fist; dispersement of energy. Make no mistake about it, If Vitali was swinging ball-peen hammers for fists about he'd be killing without trying, but he's got those giant sledge tops. Which even though weighs quit a bit more isn't used to bend, dent, or otherwise distort the shape of metal.

I don't give a damn about my sim either. Now that I know it's from the states! We dunno boxing for **** here in America. We don't own the majority of records, nor have we birth more champions than the whole world combined....I just playing. I only mentioned it 'cause I felt like it's interesting. Long enough to find Vitali's heart, and take it.

Rocky never lost to ANYONE, let alone to the likes of Chris Byrd and a fading fast Lennox Lewis. The Rock would find a way to win, and Vitali would find a way to lose.

i think if he gets stopped it would be on cuts and swelling

you cant go forward against that being his size
you just cant. not against somebody who knows how to fight tall and has skills.
and can tie you up WITH EASE.

an average plodder today would proably get blown away by the pace and lose on activity alone, if not get horribly worn down and stopped. body punching. old school. it would be a lot easier in a 15 round fight.

but that's not going to happen against vitali klitschko
and if you can, your only realistic chance is going to be a knockout, and vitali has a great chin that has taken bombs that rocky could never generate


against wladimir, however, i'd give rocky a much better chance
again, its probably going to end with his face destroyed win lose or draw
but wladimir still has lapses when his opponent comes forward and he looks to clinch
and his chin isn't spectacular

Vitali gets his face utterly thrashed and loses by TKO to the best fighter he ever fought, and I'm supposed to believe he's going to somehow beat the undefeated Rocky Marciano, one of the greatest, if not THE greatest, heavyweight of all time? Uh, no. I don't think so. Like I said, Rocky finds a way to win, Vitali finds a way to lose, it's what they both do when the going gets tough and Rocky never quit, and never lost. Can't say the same for Vitali, though I do respect him as a fighter much more than his soft little brother, Splatimir.
