  • Best single punch ever thrown

My favourite is the one below, Jersey Joe Walcott knocking out Ezzard Charles.

Almost no set-up punches, just a single flush shot.

The expression on his face and his swagger just make it all the more special.

The first thrown in the Ron Lyle/George Foreman war gets honourable mention

    1:01

Honestly, was that going to be the hardest low-blow in boxing history? Did Ron Lyle realise that Foreman pre-Rumble in the Jungle would have knocked him out then and there with that lunge?

Robinson vs Fullmer II Left Hook KO punch.

To embed videos. Underneath the video click "Share" then select "Embed".
Writing in code form comes up and you just copy and paste the code, you can change the size of the video using the rectangles below the code. Different codes are required for different sizes of video though.

I'll take the hybrid left hook/uppercut that Michael Spinks used to dispatch Marvin Johnson.

Johnson was giving Spinks a rough go of it, pushing him back just a bit, when Spinks suddenly steps in with the sweetest shot, on a southpaw, that I've ever seen. Beautiful execution, and thundering force.

          Thanks Barnburner.

Speaking of Hearns I forgot about the shot he took down Duran with. That one is outstanding.

That punch traveled so fast, it went back in time!

Graham looked like someone who had been killed and then dropped off a roof, the way he fell.

I feel ****** for forgetting my favourite punch of all time. Fraziers famous left that floored Muhammad Ali.
