    I think that's a pretty good list, although:

    The likes of McLarlin, Ross and Canzoneri all are greater than Whitaker or Hearns.
    I don't feel Joe Louis is that high either.

    Very good though

      Thanks I just thought to add some more modern fighters and Whitaker and Hearns were great ones. And I just have to outright disagree about Louis, I cant see how he cant be top 10.

          Calm down, I was thinking of adding Monzon, like I mentioned in the title the list is subject to change, I think Whitaker deserves the spot for his resume and skills as a fighter over Jones.

            What resume? A win over Nelson who had no business at 135? A draw against Chavez at a weight where Chavez clearly wasn't his best? Whitaker's best win is against Vasquez I know you aren't going to tell me that is better than dominating James Toney, Bernard Hopkins, Virgil Hill and John Ruiz,

              Whitaker was obviously robbed in his fight with Chavez and the win against Nelson is solid, Toney was weight drained and Hopkins was pre prime. Yes you can dissect any fighters resume and make them look bad.

                Also, I have Ezzard Charles at 5.

                Just even boxrec his resume every second guy he beats is a great fighter. It's quite phenomenal no-one talks about him with Armstrong and the rest.

                One of the most under-rated fighters ever, despite being ranked very high.

                  Yeah Ezzard Charles was great, but I just couldnt find a place for him in my top 10. Eleventh should do quit well

                    Excellent list by all means.

                    Personal changes I would make;

                    Fitzsimmons, Charles and Archie Moore are too low.

                    Whitaker and Hearns are too high and also Ray Leonard a tad high.

                    No Maxie Rosenbloom or Jimmy Mclarnin?

                    I love the Louis ranking above Ali, something that you rarely see on all time ranking these days, strangely.

                    But great list.
