Vinny Pazienza - I usually dislike fighters like Paz, but being from the same neighborhood and having worked out at the same gym on a few occasions he is automatically one of my fav's.
Pazienza is cool, but I gravitate more towards Haugen, his old archnemesis. Greg was tough, clever fighter and a colorful personality, still is. He wasn't a flashy, bragging type of guy but he could talk the talk and walk the walk. That he was the first to upset Camacho says something. He also won the trilogy with Paz really, first fight was a robbery.

Surprised with all the Robinson mentions considering he's a Grade A *******.

I can't really pick a simple, favourite fighter. I'll break it into categories.

The most entertaining overall for me would probably be Jack Johnson. Looks like he had a great sense of humour and it really is satisfying to hear about how he stood up to some of the racist laws and expectations of the time, Ali is a good runner-up though, but I think he took it a little far, particularly with Joe Louis (seriously?!) and Joe Frazier, he loses more than a few marks for that I think. Very nice showing off by both in the ring

My favourite to watch is a good Joe Louis fight. Both the setup and finish just look beautiful, perhaps not as early as Foreman or Tyson, but every bit as conclusively. Ray Robinson would be close second in this category, but I prefer Joe Louis' 'executions'. Jersey Joe could be very entertaining to watch too.

The most inspiring has to be Joe Frazier. No comparison and without a doubt my favourite boxing story and background, if at times it makes me sad (I have to look away whenever the Foreman fights are being shown ) Second would probably be Sugar Ray Leonard, hell of a fighter but I'll never forgive him for knocking out Hearns!

My favourites to watch when I just simply want to see someone get KTFO are Foreman and Tua. I don't like Tyson and never will.

My favourite personality (after Joe Frazier of course!) was Sonny Liston, when you look into him a little more. A terrifying, shady champion to be sure, but also emotionally fragile and a good guy at heart when you look a little deeper. It's a shame some consider him little more than a villain. Second would be Foreman again for the same reason, though we've seen how much of a standup guy Foreman is, more than a little publically.

The late Sir Henry Cooper was the one my now deceased grandfather liked the most. He watched the fights with Ali a lot and used to just sigh at what he saw as a missed opportunity. He'll always have sentimental value for that. Thankfully I didn't inherit the blinding hate for Joe Bugner haha.

I think I've given a fair list. I could go on forever really!

I don't know fully why. I try not to dislike him but I really can't.

I see nothing to like about his boxing persona, that wouldn't help him. But mostly it's probably because of how overrated he is.
