Good call. Foreman was a mess after this fight.

Chavez-Camacho and Calzaghe-Lacy were my top picks, but you can add Pacquiao-Margarito to the list.

Vitali - Briggs was first to come to mind and I'm surprised it hasn't been mentioned yet.

In terms of getting their face completely jacked up its gotta be Pacquiao-Margarito. Margarito had the balls to keep going forward and hes lucky Pac took it easy the last 2-3 rounds. Pac messed up Margs face worse than Resto did Collins and that was with tainted gloves and maybe wraps too I can't remember if it was both.

It was the second example I gave when I started this thread, and the reason I started the thread.

Read before replying next time maybe?

I find it hard to see past the 15 round beating that Randall "Tex" Cobb takes against Larry Holmes. I re-watched it recently and it's still breath-taking viewing. At the end I still think "how the *** he is still standing!?"

A good recent example would be Vitali-Briggs from last year when Briggs was essentially a human punchbag for 12 rounds, but still managed to last the distance. I actually only just got round to watching that fight, it's actually what inspired this thread!
Not strictly but Johnson-Burns deserves a shout.

Holmes vs. Tex was the first one that came into my mind. He took a ferocious beating.

Margarito was in a bad way after the Pacquiao fight, even if Pac carried him through the last round and it was a completely bogus fight.
