I think it is hilarious that you have barely seen 8 of your top 10 fight

Mayweather, Whitaker, Toney, Qawi, Welsh all deserve top 10 status.

Qawi? Really? He was a very good defensive fighter for a pressure fighter, but still easier to hit than those guys who fight off the back foot. Especially like Sweet Pea and Mayweather. Unless you're giving him bonus points for coming forward. He was capable of some incredible defensive bursts, though, like when Holyfield would flurry and hit absolutely nothing. He looked like an Agent from the Matrix. That was pretty impressive.

Qawi is an elite defensive fighter in my opinion.

I wasn't thinking of giving him more props for being aggressive but now you mention it considering Whitaker gets credit for being very active and defensive at the same time, Qawi should too.

The fact he's aggressive and excellent defensively is another reason why in my book he is an elitr defensive fighter.

Oh, I'm not dis*****g him being elite but top 10 all time is a bit of a stretch. That's just my take. I don't think his defense is in the same league as Pernell's, Mayweather's, Locche's, Pep's, those kinds of guys.

Nor do I but then how long does that list go?

                  In terms of the elites.

That's a good question. My first reaction is that it's sort of exactly that, a gut reaction. "Elite" isn't really a scientific term, you just know a guy is or he isn't. Qawi is an Elite defensive fighter, especially for a pressure guy. Jason Litzau is not. It's like that judge said about ****ography, you know it when you see it.
