shi t, name the same thing for sturm. sturm would never ever hold up to the heat the echols brought, EVER.

pwilly i can listen to an argument, but again, echols likes the heat and I think pwills best weight is 154. pwill is one of my top 3 fighters in the game today but i dont like echols for him today. i think pwill is a top 5 MW in the echols days but i dont like echols style fo rhim. echols is a busy fighter too......with mad pop

Sturm would completely out class him Echols might not land a clean punch the entire fight. Geale is kind of a mystery but look at there common opponent Mundine. Paul might knock Echols out in the first half of the fight.

Ok, so now I know officially that you've never seen Echols fight...

LOL! Sturm and Geale completely outclass Echols and Pwilly KO's him in 6 but a prime Bhop couldn't do any of the above???????

BTW, Mindine beat both and Echols was already ruined by jail time and 2 losses to bhop when they fought (one by stoppage) and at 168 when they fought. Geale was prime.

He'd be a mainstay in today's poor division but he would not beat Martinez. Sturm could win a decision but Echols always has a puncher's chance. Williams in his current form would get hit too much I think, Echols had a brutal right hand.

current Middleweight is a terrible division, and I mostly could only guarentee Martinez beating Echols.

although...you can make a semi fair case for Geale, Golovkin, and Pirog. theres too many question marks regarding these guys for me as of yet.

Sturm is too past prime, but prime Sturm would have a chance to beat Echols as well.

I was surprised that Golovkin didn't make Ring's top 11. Yeah basically you have Martinez and everyone else is faded or unproven. SMW on the other hand .........

Golovkin and pirog need to be more active. Golovkin needs to step it up especially.

There are a few divisions that would be deep in any era right now. Smw, bw, lw come to mind.
