I use to think it was a definitive no, but now that I think about it not so sure, definately take Sal over Pac at feather though.

It's simply not being objective if you rank Sanchez higher.

They were both outstanding fighters, but if Sanchez was a greater fighter (I don't agree, personally, but it's open-ended), it wasn't by anywhere near as much as Pacquiao is more accomplished. Sanchez might've been better at 126...&? Pacquiao is better in a dozen divisions more, but you're gonna go with Sanchez?

It's only a debate who was the better fighter at 126 (probably Sanchez, but that was his peak division --- not so, Pacquiao's). Overall, factoring accolades, it's Pacquiao by streets.

He has to be. Sanchez's career reached mythical status due to his untimely demise so it tends to be difficult for people to exclude sentimentality when comparing with it. His reign at the top was just too short to give him the nod here.

The difference is that Salvador had DEFENSE and he was a counterpuncher, Pacquiao is just a pressure fighter with speed. Can't compare the two, Chavo schools Pacquiao anyday. He's like a professor compared to Pacquiao, who is a student.

Except we're talking about who is greater, not who is the better boxer.

Well, do you see PACQUIAO beating Azumah Nelson, Wilfredo Gomez or Danny Lopez?? I sure don't! Well, Lopez MAYBE, but those other 2 certainly not!

The Nelson that only had 13 fights ?, yeah I do, at Super Feather I see Nelson taking Pac's head off but the green one that Sanchez fought against the experienced Pac who beat MAB ?, it's a possibility if you ask me.
