Great boxing trainers with no boxing experience?

Has there ever been any good trainers with no fights under there belt or very little to no boxing experience other than training.

All I can think of without pro fights were at least amateur fighters or trained at one time in a gym themselfs.

I know he wasn't a great trainer but Enzo Calzaghe had no boxing background what so ever

al columbo, he trained rocky marciano. columbo never fought or trained himself
