Naz was tough, but I really question his heart. If Barrera had knocked him down in the later rounds with anything serious, I doubt he would have gotten up. And Maidana's chin is too shaky for him to be KO proof. He's tough, but you keep going down and eventually, you'll just be too tired to stand.

cumon man watch em they get hit flush on the chin and get up they only way they lose is by decision or a shot that puts em 2 sleep like any fighter would go 2 sleep with.

But Gettin put to sleep is Ko'd. I think if Ortiz had any balls and wasnt having to get bombed on himself he would have stopped Maidana.

Maidana has a good chin but nothing special and with his style he is gonna get Knocked out sooner or later.

Dont know about that, i remember him looking real disheartened in there come to think of it, u might have a point but u gotta give him credit for all the knockdowns and some of them heavy ones he bounced back from to blaze to victory

I don't see how Naz was past his prime. He's bound to not look like the same fighter against better competition. He was in one (1) war and that lasted four rounds and was hardly brutal enough to take it all out of him. What was he, 29 at the time of the Barrera fight? Barrera was older, had been in MANY more brutal fights, he just outfight a guy who was a thriller but was really never all that great.
