You must be joking. Lewis mentioned in a thread about the fastest-handed HW's ever!? It's one thing to be quick for your size (which, incidentally, I don't think Lewis especially was. Bowe was quicker & just as big), but it's another to be actually competitive with the likes of Louis, Ali, Patterson, & company. Lewis, overwhelmingly, wasn't in this facet.

I agree that the older Lewis was a bit ponderous. But he certainly wasn't slow before he piled on the weight. As for Bowe being faster - the only comparison was during the Olympics and Lewis's hand speed didn't let him down in that encounter.
