everyone knows that wlad became linear champion after he defeated chagaev

the RING even reconizes wlad as linear champ...
You can't really use Ring as an example though. They recognize him as the Ring champ not lineal champ.

For years, until recently, the Ring had the flyweight division title vacant. However, the lineage of the Flyweight title went back since the Miguel Canto days.

There was also the who RJJ and Dariusz M thing. Where RJJ was the ring champ however, Dariusz M was considered the lineal champ.

I would also point out that the ring had Vitaly as their champ after he beat Corrie Sanders. However Vitaly was not considered really the lineal champ.

But, I do agree that Wlad should be consider the lineal champ. I have no problem with that.

And, I'm not really familiar with Sonnyboy work. So I can't say if he is a Klitschko hater or not. I know he doesn't like Lennox Lewis but I don't know about the K bros. But, I will say this because you have accused me of being a K bro hater/Haye nuthugger(neither is true) just because I had a difference of opinion with you when it came to the Klitschko'. Just because somebody doesn't think of the K bros in the way you do, doesn't make them a hater.

That is when I considered the start of his lineage.

Yes, Wlad Klitschko is Champion in the linear sense from Chagaev (2009) onwards. Excellent list (excepting that error) & it highlights an often forgotten point --- Vitali Klitschko has never been World's Heavyweight Champion.

Lewis' retirement (2004) through to Klitschko's elimination of Chagaev (2009) marks the longest gap in the lineage's entire history, incidentally. A sign of Boxing's corrupt, muddled & confused ways in the modern era, sadly. Five whole years without a Champion in the sport's flagship division. At least we are back on track now.

You will have to explain to me how Wlad beating Cagaev made him the Linear Heavyweight champion?
