Exactly. I've always said that any ATG fighter is capable of beating any other ATG fighter in his weight class on any given night unless there's some sort of prohibitive style matchup and those are extremely rare. This is the reason reason I prefer to view these things in terms of a series.

I insist that Ali is almost unbeatable h2h, and is unbeatable in a series of 3 fights.

Care to suggest someone who you feel could best Ali 2/3?

        Kenny Norton and Tim Witherspoon.

Their style are poison to outside boxers like Ali, would favor them over him

Nobody is unbeatable, everyone has a style that works against them.

Not to mention that the perfect fighter has yet to be born.....and never will be. Robinson came closest but even HE wasn't unbeatable.

What a masterful skilled boxer he was, the sport misses him.
Come on now, Prime Tyson? Really? Prime Holyfield, closer but still no...

                  Were talking Prime Ali here.

If an Ali past his prime and a shot version can win 2 out of 3 against Norton then so can a prime one. I know the fights were close but a Prime Ali with better reflexes would handle Norton alot better.

I rate Kenny Norton, but over 3 fights, Ali (did and I maintain usually would) win 2/3.

I am not saying Ali was invincible, I am saying he'd drop no more then 1 of 3 fights against anyone.
