All the athletic commissions need to put that in, working all together: the random testing of blood and urine during training. this is the same with the Margarito situation, why does he get to fight in Texas now? he shouldn't, it should all be together, that's the same problem as with the different title companies (WBO, IBF, WBA etc.) but that's also gonna mean that A LOT of fighters are gonna get caught by the way IMO. oh well.. different discussion.

I like to pretend Holyfield was a clean fighter. But the whole Evan Fields business is rather hard to ignore. So are the Tyson performances. By all accounts Holyfield was looking like a washed up fighter going into the first Tyson fight. Then he looks like a complete beast against Mike. And the muscles on his back were plain scary in that fight.

Tyson suspected that EVH was on the juice, so he actually had stipulated that there be additional drug testing when both of them fought. So i tend to give Holyfield the benefit of the doubt on that fight.

Steroid testing in boxing didnt start until 2001 and became the norm during 2002. Tyson most probably asked for a post fight urine test, which is easy to get around if you know what you are doing and are expecting to get tested..

yeah you get the gains from the steroids during training then flush it out of your system in two weeks. clean for the fight. it sucks as hell that we'll never know which natural competitor is really the best. although there's plenty of fighters doing it all naturally,im sure.
