If he wants to join the Nation and believe in spaceships thats his business but you cannot say that his environment is what pushed him into it.

So the words of his own parents and Archie Moore means absolutely nothing
.Not to mention the fact that Ali himself said that America was the best country in the world. He only started to get twisted when he allowed the Nation into his head.

Here we go again. You cannot know what he went through - you are just assuming he went through crap.

    lol
My logic is he shouldnt be rewarded for being in movements he had no part in and now you are trying to twist my words to say that Tyson shouldn't of gone to jail for ****. You must be desperate

"Mark Kram from Sports Illustrated" spent time talking with Ali's parents huh? That's your basis of what it was like for Ali being black in the 40' and 50's huh? You have no credibility. Keep embarrassing yourself with silly comments like that.

And no, I'm not assuming what the laws were during that time period. I'm stating facts and history. The Polish opponent Ali beat in the Olympics was allowed to eat in restaurants that Ali could not in his own country. Even after winning a gold medal. Ali still would have to sit in the back of the bus. I can go on and on if you want more. That's not assuming anything. Those are facts, son. Come back and prove otherwise.

Here we go again twisting my words. I never said anything like that so why are you saying it?

Malcolm X did not get involved in the struggle when he was in the NOI that is true, but he was trying to make up for that mistake after he left

This, coming from someone who thinks a honorary Klans man is a civil rights activist?

My links are way more relevant that yours. Because he fell out with Herbert in 1993 proves he left the nation in 1975???????

He was a black ****** and forbidden by Elijah to get involved in any kind of movement to change anything in America they believed a spaceship was going to take them away. So seeing as how he had no intention to try and change anything I would call that complaining

If he was that against it he would of got involved in the struggle rather than let others get in the struggle get results. Then years later when those brave men and women who risked so much are forgotten he starts picking up awards he has no right to touch

GTFO with that logic. You think racism only exists for black people in America

He interviewed them about all of the stories/myths about Ali's life. So at least I've got something what do you have that isnt based on assumptions?

Ali knew that he even metioned it when the Russian reporter asked him about it.
"Dont worry about that we got some intelligent men and women working on that. America is the best country in the world"-Muhammad Ali
He would then go on to call those who ended segregation in public places in America sell hating uncle toms and rub shoulders with his friends from the Klan

And I hope you are not talking about the story where he claimed he was refused a meal at a diner so he threw his gold medal away. Even he himself, Bundini brown and his father said that story was made up

Its a good thing that Martin Luther King, Rosa Parks and others actually did something about that, rather than call those involved in it "uncle toms" and "sell out negroes", then years later claim credit for their work

No, I'm talking about the laws in America in general. Something you obviously know nothing about. Are you really that ****** to believe that was the only time Ali would have been refused service? On second thought, after reading your post, I know the answer to that.

Do not claim credit for things you played no part in. Do not insult the memories of those who actually got involved by picking up awards you did not earn. What part of that is so hard for you, Zagz and D33pwaters to understand?

Racism is Racism, no matter where you go in the world. It just gets expressed in different ways

You should since you're failing miserably with your assumptions and uniformed comments regarding America.
Where have I failed exactly? What uninformed comments have I made regarding America?
              -lets look at yours:
-His a Civil rights activist because he refused to go and serve in Nam
-He complained about racism, so he was a Civil rights activist
-He left the nation in 1975 because he stopped working with Herbert in 1993
-He changed to Sunni Islam in 1975. Even though he was still sleeping with prositutes with his married self and fighting even though he knew his body couldnt take it no more. -what kind of ****** is that?

That has nothing to do with what I posted in response to your comments. But thanks for the effort.

Well we're not talking other parts of the world. We're talking about America and how much you obviously don't know regarding how racism affected Ali growing up. You called Ali "pampered" in regards to racism. We can start there.

Well lets see I'm so bothered about discrimination in America I'm going to join a loony group and wait for a spaceship to come down and kill all of the white people. Martin Luther King and all those other "uncle toms" can try and fight against that form of discrimination and afterwards I'll just claim credit for it. Hows that?

Never said that. Good to see you stooping to lying now. I never called him a civil rights activist either. But that would not have been nearly as comical as you calling Floyd Patterson a "Civil rights activist." Especially when he was opposed to Ali's rights to change his name by continuing to call him "Clay".
