They (the cooks) didn't know what they were doing and made them too powerful.

We went out, tried to shoot pool. Spent like $45 for two tables and no one could sink anything.
    Lol. We never learn.

My mother passed away in December of 2020. You can break my chops all you want you grizzled old drunk, but keep anyone in my family out of your mouth.
Sorry about your Mom. You only get one. QueensburyRules is good at his ....thing. Don't debate that because a debate is not what it is.

Which is a ridiculous oversight that will be corrected. I've posted extensive pick list of modern categories and Quarry is at the top.

Really? I'm a big Holmes fan but I'd be shocked to learn who you a referring to. Do you mean M Frazer, D Bey, S Frank, S Ledoux, L Zanon, and O Occiso were all ring magazine ranked me when Holmes fought them? Was Witherspoon? I did not check, but I'm not buying it. Just 2 were unranked? Which two?

          Thanks.

I am not. Are they any confimed offers for a Holy vs. Wlad fight from 1999-2003? I highly doubt there was. Holy was past his best by those dates and would have been badly beaten especially in 2002 and 2003.

I agree one can't smoke oneself into an overdose. That's likely impossible but . . .

One can die from alcohol poisoning, so can one eat enough weed (all at once) that it shuts down one's breathing or stops one's heart?

I think with edibles now becoming commonplace we MIGHT be in for a bad surprise.

              I wonder!

P.S. Sorry, I am using overdose to mean death. I did understand the point you made.
I don't think you could because THC doesn't work like narcotics and such. I'm no doctor, I did work as an EMS for a few years though, so I'm not totally ignorant but anything I say should still be taken with a grain of salt and confirmed or debunked by independent research before acting or advising.

I don't think edibles or even injection can kill a person. A dog, yes, but not a human. I'm pretty sure that alone is why there is no case of marijuana death. People have baked with the stuff for a long time and it's been known to backyard chemists, for lack of a better term, how to purify THC from the plant material for a very long time as well. It may not have been as popular as today's edibles and "dabs" or wax or whatever the people call it now but it has been around.

The effects simply don't stack like narcotics do. Going beyond the dosage for the desired effect for ******* will continue to raise heart rate. You will not get higher, you're just raising your heart rate until you blow the pump. THC just doesn't do that. It taps out rather early in terms of drugs and I think is simply metabolized. Destroyed by the body for energy.

Which is why people can smoke themselves to death with cigarettes, nicotine poisoning is a thing, but not with weed.

People grow stronger plants these days, and eat strong edibles, and smoke or vape stronger inhalants but largely have the same experience. If your only experience is street stuff then it would seem THC itself is stronger but it isn't. purified THC, which requires little more than a storage device, butane, and an evacuation chamber, is exactly the same as it ever was. The plant has more THC but the THC is the same old THC.

I don't think it can kill no matter how much your produce. I think it has be changed in a fundamental way, similar to those fake weed chems that were sold not so long ago ... ****e(?) or some such. Take the THC, add some new chemical to make a new compound, now it may kill you.

everyone uses overdose to mean death, I'm no correction **** I just shared because I think it's interesting, no apology needed.

How can Ray Mancini be in the HOF and Jerry Quarry not be?

This is an assumption on your part. Why does Holy have to make the offer? He was a ranked fighter, just like the Klits. Only difference is he brought the money, the name and the resume. This was a fight most fighters would clamor for or understand they had to take to get to the next. Level. Marciano had to do it with Louis, Holmes with Ali, Tyson, with Holmes (not so much). The list can go on.

                      - - Ray backstory of winning a title for his dear dad before he passed, point one.

Ray winning a title, point two.

Jerry never winning a title, point three.

Jerry tagged as Great White Hope point four.

Mind, I ain't no expert as how the IBHOF works, but I know a little bit about how folks work.
