How he did in the ring does not effect his personality and personal qualities which is why I like him.

Early in his career Tyson was quite humble to his opponents, after he KTFO he'd always go and help them up, say "good fight" and just kind of treat them with respect.

      **** knows what happened though.

He was a respectable kid early in his career. Mid-90's onwards he was a total mess.

Ali has also referred to Joe Louis as an Uncle Tom which is downright disgraceful in my eyes.
B-hop throwing the flag was not cool I'll give you that but, he made himself hated by all the PR's and Ali made someone else hated not himself.
You are a victim of your own double standards and it's soo pathetic how you just dismiss it.

Ali called Joe Frazier an Uncle Tom. true. This was all apart of Ali's promotional persona and a pugilistic act to gain the upper hand over his opponent before the fight.

Nothing more than a tool used to gain a mental edge.

Hopkins threw down the PR flag and insulted an entire country. If you respect Hopkins and don't think Ali is class than you are a hypocrite.

          Plain and simple.

Muhammad Ali was a class-act in every way he would sign autographs for fans for hours on end knowing that those fans had travelled miles to see him... Yet Marvin Hagler when inducted into the the IBHOF sat on his own and refused to sign a single autograph for fans, telling them to go away he cannot be bothered... Thats is just one instance of the huge gulf difference in class between the two.

My favourite? Thomas Hearns. The stare...... and that right hand. A chin short of being the GOAT in my opinion.

Least favourite. Mike Tyson. A scumbag who shat all over the sport of boxing time and time again

Fav of all time has to be as surprisingly only one other mentioned, Gatti. Being Canadian as well, it was cool to see a Canadian succeed and become a world champion, then to see the wars he went through, and most importantly the respect he showed while being such a warrior just cemented his place in my heart as my favorite fighter ever. Hand in had must be Mickey Ward as well. To me one of the best fighters who got the most out of sheer determination IMO, and such a gentleman as well. i always love respect and toughness in any fighter, and Ward and Gatti top the list for me.

Originally it was most surely Ali, the man was so damned great, he is the reason I first got into boxing back in the early 80's, by watching his fights on "superbouts" here in Canada.

Another "superbouts" fighter I enjoyed watching was Sugar ray Leonard. I was truly amazed how he beat Hagler after having the mediocre comeback attempts and all previously. i also recalled backing him in the Hagler fight with some friends back in the day and was thrilled as we watched the fight.

I also must say RJJ is a favorite of mine. The first and so far IMO the ONLY super freak of nature boxing has ever seen. Sure he is a shell of his former self now, BUT when he was in his prime, man that dude was badass. Seems like he could do almost ANYTHING he wanted whenever he wanted to an opponent.

As for fighters I don't like, Sergio Mora is one, but that will be taken care of soon enough by Mosely.

Another is PBF, the man is a complete ignorant douche of a human being, and you can see why when you listen to even one interview with his father or uncle to be quite honest.

Least Favorite: Tie - Hector Camacho and Princess Nassem......Two fighters whose utter lack of class is matched only by their anus like personalities.
