because its pointless lol.i dont enjoy arguing so im gonna do the adult thing and bow out gracefully

guy clearly stated not a best punch, but a unique punch and you still wish to troll lol.cooneys uppercut was unique, his hook wasnt.you dont define the word signature.1 of ali's signatures is the rope a dope even though he only used it once lol

      http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/signature
: something (as a tune, style, or logo) that serves to set apart or identify; also : a characteristic mark

if i see cooneys uppercut,i can instantly recognize him.if he's throwin a hook,he looks like anybody else

schools out though .im finished.let my good education marinate

Thank you for making my point. Cooneys hook is what set him apart, what people identified him with. Game, set, match.

I dont know about all this but this year i flipped **** at the DMV because they told me my signature has changed. My signature is how ever the f**k i feel like writing it at the time.... while the dmv stated that it has changed and this is the new signature that everything i sign will be checked against. i went on for atleast 40 mins dealing with this bull s**t till i finally accepted that this woman at the dmv was going to write down that my signature has changed. i then went on to make asinine faces for a camera for another 40 mins to fruther prove my point that just as my signature changes every moment so does my expression and that there is never any need to equate my signature and face at one moment in time to how its ever going to be at any other moment in time.

im sure cooney felt similar as his hooks and upper cuts were just what they were from how he threw them making both just as much a representation of himself.

really they can both be considered signature punches but along with signature punches id put his hook as his best punch as well which would leave his upper cut as something totally unique and worth mentioning.

plus you (jab) mention the suzie q as marcianos best punch some where but really the suzie q was a falling punch requiring very little effort to accomplish a KO blow which is why he would use it late in fights to put people down when he knew that even if he swung with all he had he didnt have enough to put them down so he had to fall into them. really he didnt use the punch much through out a fight and only brought it out twords the end to finish opponents off. if anything marcianos regular punches were the best, check out the youtube of greb punching, almost the exact same as Marciano with the elbow up and out for a hook but thrown as a straight punch, you can really feel the entire back being put into it but it leaves the body wide open.

Is that what it is? It might have been common, but when I think Floyd, I think of him sticking out his chin and then whipping out that right hand.
