ANY boxing fan with just the slightest bit of knowledge knows that Cooneys left hook would be called his signature punch, regardless of whether it was (and it was) his best punch or not. It was what he was known for. If you'd like I can provide plenty of video evidence of this. Why don't you dig up some footage of his uppercut being his signature punch and being talked about nearly EVERY time he fought?

To be fair though Cooney's uppercut did look like something straight out of a video game, just checked out a few fights, it's not his best punch or his 'signature' per se but he did throw it his own way.
